Healthy Environment

Our district is increasingly threatened by rising sea levels and even wildfires. I work in emergency preparedness and understand the impact of climate change. As your next representative I will work to help us:

Transition from expensive fossil fuels as swiftly as possible by investing in renewable energy sources;

Empower our public universities to review our waste management processes;

Invest in our public transit system, the NW Connector (Wave, Rider, and Sunset);

Work hand-in-hand with our tribal leaders to create environmental protections for everyone.

Support low-income and elderly communities most at risk from unhealthy air, water pollution, and who face limited access to recreation opportunities.
